God's Presence in Times of Trial
When thou passest through the waters, I {will be} with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
— Isaiah 43:2
Have you ever felt like you're walking through a fire, with no escape in sight? Perhaps it's a difficult season in your life, where the challenges seem overwhelming. But take heart, dear one, for God's word promises to be with you through it all. In Isaiah 43:2, we read that when we pass through the waters, He will be with us, and when we walk through the fire, we will not be burned. This isn't just a promise, it's a reality that we can cling to in our darkest moments. So, take a deep breath and remember that God's presence is with you, even when the flames seem to be closing in.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being with us in times of trial. Help us to remember Your promise and cling to it when the challenges seem too great. Give us courage and peace, knowing that You are always with us.
